Tower Tournament Zed Ref

My entry for

I had to type this up 3 times because of the thunderstorm at my house. But I finally got it finished. Hopefully it's enough to get in.

And I know it asks for two angles for the reference but I felt showing the way he moves would be more beneficial than showing the front and back of a creature with no defined shape.

Name: Most easily translates to "Zed."


Strengths: He is quick, somewhat intelligent, and almost infinitely flexible. And as he has no organs, bones, or skin, he can not be killed by cutting, stabbing, or blunt force. It still hurts though. In a life threatening situation Zed's body can release a highly alkaline enzyme designed to digest organic materials. This is his species' digestive system, and it takes about an hour before he can be safely touched. He is greatly morally opposed to using this enzyme on living creatures so it is unlikely to be a part of most battles.


Weaknesses. Zed has little physical strength and uses momentum in order to move. This makes him clumsy when moving. He is not flammable but will boil at high temperatures and is likely to die. Inversely very low temperatures will cause him to freeze. At higher temperatures he has a harder time controlling his body because it becomes less viscous. At low temperatures he becomes slower because his body is thicker. His body is mostly water, making him highly conductive. Because of this he can be seriously injured or killed by exposure to electric current (~ 8 seconds of high voltage current will leave him dead.) He is also water soluble. However it takes about 3,000 gallons of water to be rid of him permanently (I promise that's not as much as it sounds like.)


Bio: Zed left his planet early on in his life looking for adventure. Shortly after leaving home he became enamored with earth cinema; westerns and action-adventure moives in particular. ABLE consumed the planet at some point during his travels. Zed was to busy to care very much. He's spent the last 50 years or so traveling from planet to planet looking for odd jobs and fun.


Personality: Zed is extremely open. He has no secrets to keep and no qualms with sharing every thought in his head. Generally he tries to take things lightly and make jokes when under stress. His jokes don't always come out as intended however, since telepathy is a very literal form of communication.


Tidbits:
He glows in the dark.
He is translucent.
He is slightly sticky, but doesn't leave residue.
He has no speech organ so communicates telepathically.
Every process in his body (digestion, movement, thought, etc.) is performed by every cell in his body.
He has no separate organs, and no skin.
His planet is a near constant mild to sub-tropical temperature so his species never developed a way to regulate their body temperature.
Though he has no defined shape he prefers a bipedal stance.
He technically has no biological gender, but identifies himself as a male.
His ship is just large enough to carry him.
The little propeller-ed thing is spike, a detachable navigation/computer system for the ship.
